For weight training, what you will need is a variety of weights. They can be machine weights and free weights. For core training like yoga and Pilates, what you will need are mats in order for you to perform the routines.

You don't really need to purchase very expensive equipment or machinery. You can be creative enough to maximize the things and objects that you can find at home. They can help you to supplement the routines and exercise programs. For example, you can do dips with the chairs, squats against the wall, and sprints on the stairs.
